Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of dreamshifthomes.com (the "Site"), run by Dream Shift Investment Team LLC, doing business as Dream Shift Homes ("we," "us"). By using the Site or sending us a form, you agree to them.
What this Site is
The Site describes a private rental home in Jurupa Valley, California and lets you ask about it, request a walk-through, or apply to rent. Nothing on the Site is an offer of tenancy. Sending a form, asking a question, or booking a walk-through does not reserve a room, create a tenancy, or obligate either of us. A tenancy begins only when a Housing Agreement is signed by both sides and the first payment has been received.
What Dream Shift Homes is — and isn't
Dream Shift Homes provides residential housing. We do not provide medical treatment, personal care, supervision, medication management, transportation, or other supportive services. Residents arrange their own services and appointments with providers of their choosing. We are landlords. The home is not a shelter: it has a public address, no on-site security, no confidential location, and no safety planning.
Availability and accuracy
We update availability regularly, but it changes between updates. A room shown as available may be gone by the time you call, and rates can change for future agreements. The Housing Agreement you sign — not the Site — sets the rent, deposit, and terms for your tenancy.
Applications
Applications are reviewed individually. We decide based on the application, the screening results, and the household rule (an alcohol- and drug-free home). We don't guarantee approval and we don't promise a decision time. If we decline an application, we'll say so plainly.
Fair housing
We do business in accordance with the federal Fair Housing Act and the California Fair Employment and Housing Act. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, familial status, marital status, source of income, military or veteran status, disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law. Restrictions in the home apply to conduct, not to who someone is.
Text messages
If you opt in to texts, you'll receive messages about your inquiry, application, and move-in as described in the Privacy Policy. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your part
Be 18 or older. Give accurate information on forms and applications. Don't use the Site to send anything unlawful, abusive, or misleading, and don't try to interfere with it.
Our materials
The text, photographs, video, and design on the Site belong to us or are used with permission. Referral partners may print and share our one-page information sheet as published; please don't alter it or present it as your own.
Links to other sites
The Site links to our scheduling page and may link to outside resources (for example, the Housing Authority). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
Limitation of liability
The Site is provided as-is. To the extent California law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from your use of the Site or from reliance on information on it, including availability or rate information that has changed. Nothing here limits your rights under a signed Housing Agreement or under California landlord–tenant law.
Governing law
California. Disputes about the Site will be handled in the state courts serving Riverside County, California, after a good-faith attempt to resolve them by phone or email first. Disputes under a Housing Agreement are governed by that agreement.
