Dream Shift Homes is operated by Dream Shift Investment Team LLC, a limited liability company ("Dream Shift Homes," "we," "us"). This page explains what we collect when you use dreamshifthomes.com (the "Site"), send us a form, call or text us, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you fill out a form on the Site.
Your name, phone number, email address, and the answers you give — such as who you're asking for, when you need housing, how you'd like to be contacted, and anything you choose to write in the open text box. The referral-partner form also asks for your organization's name and your role.
When you call or text us.
Your phone number, the date and time, and notes about what we discussed. If you text us, the content of the texts.
When you apply to rent.
The application asks for more — identification, rental history, and how rent will be paid. That information is covered by the application and the Housing Agreement you sign, not by this page, and it is handled the same way as any rental application.
Automatically.
Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring site), and the cookies described below.
We do not ask on the Site, and you should not send us, information about health, treatment, recovery, or criminal history. If you include it in a message anyway, we don't use it to decide anything and we'll delete it on request.
How we use it
To call, text, or email you back about availability and next steps · to schedule and confirm walk-throughs · to review rental applications · to communicate with an organization that is paying rent on a resident's behalf, at that resident's request · to keep basic records of who we talked to and when · to understand how the Site is used and improve it.
We don't sell personal information. We don't buy lists. We don't use what you tell us for marketing to anyone else.
Who else sees it
Service providers that help us run the business and that only receive what they need for the job: our contact-management and messaging platform (which stores form submissions and sends our texts and emails), our website host, our email provider, and any measurement or advertising services we use to understand how people find and use the Site. If you apply to rent, the screening service we use. If an agency or organization is paying your rent, that organization, for the invoice and the housing agreement — only with the resident's agreement.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or to enforce a Housing Agreement.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and ask us to text you, or you text us first, we may send you texts about your inquiry, your application, walk-through scheduling, and move-in. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts; reply HELP for help. Mobile phone numbers and text-message consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes; they are used only to send you the messages you asked for. Opting out of texts does not affect your inquiry or application — we'll call or email instead.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that don't lead to an application: up to 24 months, then deleted. Applications and Housing Agreements: as long as California landlord–tenant law requires, generally four years after the tenancy ends.
Your choices
Email info@dreamshifthomes.com or call (951) 528-1257 to see what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll respond within 30 days. We'll honor deletion requests except where we're required to keep a record (for example, a signed Housing Agreement). Unsubscribe links are in every email we send; STOP stops texts.
Cookies and "Do Not Track"
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to make the forms work, to measure how people use the Site, and, where we run advertising, to measure whether an ad led to a visit. You can block cookies in your browser; the forms will still work. We don't respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because there is no industry standard for them.
Children
The Site and the home are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
